When learning how to create a 3D temple in class I felt like I was on the right track modelling one but unfortunately had to leave mid lesson to have my meningitis jab, upon returning to class I was surprised to find I had missed a lot and not knowing the system at all found I couldn't catch up during that session.
Above is my first solo attempt at creating a 3D temple, I watched an online Youtube tutorial that same weekend following it step by step; taking me just under 3 hours to create it. It's not anything spectacular and lacks any fine details I could draw to paper but I am very proud of it - as it is my first 3D model.
Wanting to learn how I can further improve my Temple I attempted it again with some guidance from one of my course mates who taught me how to use extrude and bevel to create a more diverse range of shapes the effect being to create a more stylised temple by adding more detail. I was also taught how to add a spot light and a filter. Although I am proud of my first temple I am ecstatic with my second one because it looks really pretty and I learned a wider range of effects with my second temple- also how to render a 3D model.
